Originally, coffee plants come from South Africa and the tropical regions of Asia. Nowadays, as long as the area is warm, you will see coffee plants everywhere worldwide.
The Coffea Arabica is the most commonly used plant for coffee beans. Around 75% to 80% of all coffee beans come from this plant companion.
After three years, the Coffea Arabica starts flowering. Red berries appear on the plant, in which two seeds grow, which are the coffee beans. But don't get too excited! You can't extract coffee at home.The coffee beans of this houseplant don’t taste like what you are accustomed to.
