Description

The Brighamia Insignis, also known as the Hawaii Palm, is a quirky plant with a chunky succulent stem and a bright tuft of leaves on top. It looks like a mini palm tree, but it's actually a succulent. With the right care, it might even reward you with soft yellow flowers in autumn. Rare, but a lovely surprise if it happens.

Origin

This plant comes from the cliffs of Hawaii, where it's now endangered in the wild. Thankfully, it lives on as a beloved houseplant around the world.

Care

Light

Loves lots of light and thrives on a sunny windowsill. Morning or afternoon sun is perfect.

Water

As a succulent, it needs little water. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings and avoid soggy roots.

Humidity

It’s perfectly happy in a dry room. No misting needed, just give the leaves an occasional wipe.

Toxic?

The Brighamia Insignis is non toxic and safe to keep around pets and children.

With its palm like look and rare chance of blooming, the Hawaii Palm is a true statement piece for plant lovers.
