Meet the Campanula Ambella – a cheerful bloomer for indoors and outdoors
The Campanula Ambella is a charming plant that brightens up your home, balcony, or patio with its bell-shaped flowers in beautiful shades of purple, blue, or white. This versatile plant thrives both indoors and outdoors, adding a playful, romantic touch to any space.
Also known as the bellflower, the Campanula originates from mountainous regions of Europe and Asia. Thanks to its adaptability, it grows happily in nature as well as in gardens and pots, where its delicate flowers steal the show.
Campanula Ambella loves a bright spot. Indoors, place it in a well-lit area with plenty of indirect light, like near an east- or west-facing window. Outdoors, it does well in partial shade to full sun, but avoid the hottest midday sun to prevent leaf burn.
Keep the soil lightly moist, but don’t let it sit in water. In spring and summer, water about twice a week, depending on the temperature. In autumn and winter, water less frequently – check if the soil feels dry before watering again.
To encourage continuous blooming, feed your Campanula Ambella with a liquid fertiliser every two weeks during the growing season (spring and summer). No feeding is needed in autumn and winter.
Good news! The Campanula Ambella is non-toxic to pets and children, so you can enjoy this cheerful plant worry-free.
Campanula is fairly hardy, but if it's in a pot, it’s best to place it in a sheltered spot or bring it indoors during heavy frost.
Whether you’re a beginner plant lover or an experienced gardener, the Campanula Ambella is an easy-going and rewarding plant that keeps surprising you with its beautiful flowers. Place it on your balcony, patio, or indoors and enjoy its enchanting charm!
