Description
The Caryota Mitis originates from Asia. In nature, the Caryota Mitis can grow up to 12 metres high!
The plant owes its nickname, Fishtail Palm, to the shape of its leaves.
The Caryota Mitis prefers to grow in a spot with semi-shade. If the plant grows very slowly, you can move it to a place with more indirect light.
Make sure that the soil of the Caryota Mitis is always slightly moist. Usually once a week watering is enough. Please note! The darker the location for the Caryota Mitis, the less water the plant will use.
Does the Caryota Mitis suffer from withered leaves at the bottom of the plant? No problem! The plant lets its older leaves die off to grow new leaves.
