Botanical name
Eucalyptus Gunnii

Toxic to pets
Yes
Eucalyptus is a stunning, fast-growing plant with silvery-blue leaves and a fresh, aromatic scent. It brings a touch of the Mediterranean to your garden or balcony and is also perfect in a large pot.
Native to Australia and Tasmania, Eucalyptus trees are giants in their natural habitat. Here, they're often grown in containers or as small garden trees.
Loves full sun. Place it somewhere it gets at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily.
Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. It can tolerate short dry spells but prefers consistent moisture in summer.
Eucalyptus thrives in outdoor air and doesn’t require high humidity.
Most Eucalyptus species are moderately hardy, tolerating down to around -10 °C. In pots, they’re more sensitive to frost, so provide protection or move them indoors during cold spells.
Not edible. Eucalyptus can be harmful if ingested, so keep it out of reach of pets and children.
With its striking leaves and fresh scent, Eucalyptus is perfect for adding a cool, southern vibe to any outdoor space.
