The original Monstera hails from the rainforests of Central and South America. The Thai Constellation is a specially cultivated variety – you won’t find her in the wild, but she’s hugely popular with plant lovers around the world.
Care
Light
She loves bright, indirect light. Too much direct sun can burn her variegated leaves, so keep her out of harsh sunlight. Too little light? The white parts may fade to green.
Water
Let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. Water more often in summer, less in winter. Make sure the pot has drainage holes to prevent root rot.
Humidity
She thrives in high humidity. Mist her now and then or place her near a humidifier to keep her looking her best.
Heads up
The Monstera Thai Constellation is mildly toxic to pets and small kids. Best to keep curious mouths away from her leaves.
