Description
The leaves of the Platycerium bifurcatum grow in two types. Staghorn shaped leaves, which grow upwards from the inner leaves. Besides these, the Platycerium bifurcatum has leaves on the bottom of the plant, which will rot after a while. This sounds strange, but these rotting leaves actually provide nutrients for the plant. So don't worry about the rotting leaves of the Platycerium bifurcatum!
The partial shade is the ideal location for the Platycerium bifurcatum. They certainly don't like direct sunlight.
