Description

The Zamioculcas Raven is a bold, almost mysterious houseplant with deep purple to black foliage. It’s low-maintenance but still makes a big impact in any room.

Origin

Like the classic green ZZ plant, the Raven comes from East Africa, where it grows in dry and shaded areas.

Care

Light

Thrives in low to medium light. It doesn’t need bright sunlight but can handle some filtered light if available.

Water

This plant stores water in its thick stems and rhizomes. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. It’s better to underwater than overwater.

Humidity

Does perfectly fine in normal indoor humidity. No special care needed.

Toxic?

The Zamioculcas Raven is mildly toxic if ingested, so best to keep it out of reach of pets and kids.

It’s the ideal choice if you want a tough, stylish plant with a striking dark look.
