Description

The Begonia Cane Double Dot is often mistaken for the popular Begonia Maculata, but there are some key differences. The Double Dot has smaller, more delicate spots and a more compact growth. While the Maculata stands out with bold dots, the Double Dot has a subtler, more refined look – a unique twist on the classic angel wing begonia!

Origin

This Begonia is part of the cane-type group, native to the tropical forests of South America. In the wild, it grows under the canopy, enjoying filtered light and warmth.

Care

Light

Loves bright, indirect light. Avoid harsh midday sun as it can scorch the leaves. A spot with morning sun is absolutely fine.

Water

Water regularly in small amounts. Let the top layer of soil dry out between waterings. Be careful not to overwater – soggy roots can cause rot.

Humidity

The Begonia Cane Double Dot enjoys a bit of extra humidity. Mist the leaves now and then or place a dish of water nearby.

Toxic?

Like most Begonias, it’s mildly toxic if eaten. Best kept out of reach of pets and children.

With its speckled leaves and graceful look, the Begonia Cane Double Dot is a stylish addition to any plant collection.
