Origin
This cactus is native to the Caribbean and parts of South America, where it thrives in dry, rocky terrain and full sun.
Care
Light
Loves full sun. Place it right by a sunny window and let it soak up a few hours of direct sunlight each day.
Water
Water sparingly. Let the soil dry out completely between waterings. In winter, it needs very little water.
Humidity
This cactus prefers dry air and copes well with normal indoor humidity levels.
Toxic?
Not toxic, but the spines can be sharp. Handle with care when moving or repotting.
