Description

The Phoenix Roebelenii, also known as the dwarf date palm, is a graceful palm with soft arching fronds. Its compact size makes it perfect for indoors or sheltered outdoor spots.

Origin

This palm originates from Southeast Asia, where it grows in warm, humid environments. In cooler regions it’s often grown in pots.

Care

Light

Loves bright, indirect light. Morning or evening sun is fine, but strong midday sun may scorch the leaves.

Water

Keep the soil lightly moist in summer, but avoid waterlogged roots. Let the top layer dry out before watering again. Water less in winter.

Humidity

The Phoenix Roebelenii enjoys a bit more humidity. Give it an occasional mist, especially if the air indoors is dry.

Cold tolerance

Not frost hardy. If temperatures drop, move the palm indoors or protect it well in a sheltered spot.

With its elegant look and manageable size, the Phoenix Roebelenii brings a soft tropical touch to any space.
