Botanical name
Peperomia Pepperspot
Toxic to pets
No
The Peperomia originates from Central and South America. When the plant was found, it turned out to belong to the pepper family. Hence the name Peperomia.
A Peperomia can be recognized by its round leaves. It absorbs a lot of moisture as it is semi-succulent. This means it's easier to take care of Peperomia plants than most other indoor plants. The plant can suck up water, so you won’t need to water a lot.
